Fibretext is a waste technology company that upcycles non-fruit parts of the banana plant into packaging products, growing incomes for farmers and reducing the environmental impact of banana production. Fibertext Green paper Ltd is the number one company in producing and supplying high quality, biodegradable, environmental friendly packaging products.

Many farmers benefit from selling their agricultural waste (banana biomass) which previously caused pollution problems or was simply thrown away. Fibertext transforms it and gives it a new value!

Problem: Where does our garbage go?

With our current waste stream, consumers really don’t know. The synthetic waste has increased in Kenya over recent years. Even when we think we are recycling and doing a good deed, the paper itself inside these products can only be reused three times before the fibers are unusable and disposed of in local landfills without the consumer knowing. The alternative wood based packaging products destroys our forests.

Fibertext has developed 100% environmental friendly packaging products. When banana agricultural products are burned or disposed off not properly greenhouse gases are produced, Fibertext reduces carbon footprint up to 1ton by giving value and life on this wastes.
